Emergency Casualty Care Course (E-Triple C)

Our instructor is Sergeant Ryan Thomas, a certified Paramedic who will teach participants how to stop profuse bleeding. This course is specially designed for civilians, law enforcement, military personnel, and Range Safety Officers by teaching them critically important Emergency Casualty Care.
Ryan has over 15 years of service as a paramedic and over 10 years as a Law Enforcement Officer. He is a certified Law Enforcement Emergency Medical Care Course (LEEMCC) instructor. He is also the Chairman of the LEEMCC advisory board.
Course topics will include the following:
• History of tactical combat care
• Causes of field mortality
• Zones of care
• Survival Mindset
• Trauma Assessment
• Terminal Ballistics
• Hemorrhage control with an emphasis on tourniquet use
• Basic airway management
• Patient evacuation
• Transferring care to Police/EMS
• Creating an Individual First Aid Kit (IFAK)
Participants receive a tourniquet and an Individual First Aid Kit (IFAK) as part of their tuition.
