Description
Intermediate Tactical Pistol Course
Our four-hour Intermediate Pistol Course is for experienced shooters. It is of special interest to those who have a wear and carry permit. The design of the course requires participants to have an intermediate level of skill with firearms manipulation and marksmanship.
The course builds on the participants’ beginning skill-level. The training starts with a review of firearms safety rules, firearms manipulation, and marksmanship. The course continues with movement drills, shooting at stationary and moving metal targets, drawing from the holster, and close-quarter drills. Other drills include turn-and-shoot, slicing the pie, weak hand shooting, one-handed shooting, and emergency and tactical reloading. The emphasis will be on the tactical application of firearm skills.
Participants may use their personal firearms or use ours. A minimum of 500 rounds of ammunition is required along with a holster, magazine pouch, a strong belt to hold the holster and pouch, and eye and ear protection.
