Long-Range Precision Shooting Course

Reach Farther. Shoot Smarter. Hit with Confidence.

The Spartan Firearms Training Group’s Long-Range Precision Shooting Rifle Course is built for shooters who want to stretch their capabilities. Whether you’re a developing intermediate shooter, or a person with significant firearms skills, this course gives you the tools, skills, and confidence to engage targets at distance with accuracy and consistency.

If you’re ready to learn how to truly run your rifle—how to dial in your scope, account for wind, and hit targets out to 850 yards—this is the course for you.

What You’ll Learn:

This course covers the key foundations and advanced techniques that enable long-range success. Topics include:

  • Customizing your rifle and gear setup
  • Scope leveling and proper zeroing (100-yard zero)
  • Fundamentals of precision marksmanship
  • Reading and adjusting for wind
  • Range estimation, holds, and dialing
  • Ballistic data and shooter solutions
  • Alternate firing positions for real-world conditions

You’ll start with a short classroom session focused on ballistics, optics, and reticles. Then we move to rifle setup, making sure your firearm is dialed in for you. Once zero is confirmed, we head to the long-range firing line—where targets range from 200 to 850 yards.
